NIGHT VISION & DARK TINTED WINDOWS
The DR590W-2CH system includes the Sony Starvis image sensor embedded in the vehicle’s camera system. This is the same image sensor that is included in our Flagship and 4K camera system. It delivers extraordinary low light performance in dark driving and parking conditions and if you need more brightness in dark environments, the camera system has an extra Enhanced Night Vision feature. When activated, it will boost the sensitivity to low light without brightening the highlighted areas. You’ll be able to view video day and night even with dark 5% tinted windows.
OPTIONAL VIDEO GPS
A lot of our customers only need these incredible cameras to see who is vandalizing their vehicle while it’s parked overnight or while it is parked during the day. A good portion of them don’t care if they have GPS tracking while driving because they only want to capture someone in the act of vandalizing their car or truck but if you do want to have GPS tracking to show where you and your vehicle was located during a car accident or have a record of where your vehicle was vandalized, you’ll have the option to add a small GPS in-car antenna.
The GPS adds precise location and vehicle speed data to your videos.
Speed: the vehicle’s speed data will be overlaid on the video (can be turned off in the settings).
You can choose to display the speed in Kilometers per hour (Km/h) or Miles per hour (Mph).
Location: you can visualize the location of your vehicle in the BlackVue Viewer’s Map during video playback.
Wi-Fi lets you connect to your vehicle cameras with a smartphone or tablet. Wi-Fi also lets your vehicle cameras connect to the Over the Cloud function via any home or mobile Wi-Fi hotspot (router).
Bank Level Encryption Technology: protects your videos from being hacked by unwanted viewers. Program updates are sent through the app periodically. You have complete control over applying the program updates.
Everything But The Cloud
The only difference between the DR750-2ch and the DR590W-2ch is the fact that this model (the 590W) does not have Cloud viewing which gives you the option to view your cameras live or playback recordings online from anywhere. Outside of Cloud Viewing, every other feature is included. GPS tracking is offered as an option.
